Reflections of Perseverance: Enjoying the Outdoors:)

This past weekend I was grateful for a few more days of warm weather, blue skies and sunshine. Both mornings I woke up and absolutely could not wait to get out my door.

On Saturday I hit the roads for Long Run day:

Persevering through 15 miles where I did not fuel or hydrate well...but I learned lots and pushed through to the end! Despite a tough finish...I couldn't help but smile as I took in the sights around me and watched the sun rise over the city.

Sunday I woke up and just knew I again wanted to get out the door again for a while. Beautiful day...perfect for an adventure with my pups. They persevered through my desire to walk all over town and all 3 of us came home exhausted:)

I don't think I could have asked for a more peaceful weekend...time spent out in nature and fresh air never fails to rejuvenate me for the week ahead!

What did you enjoy this weekend? How did you persevere?

  11. What a beautiful place to run! Last weekend I was lucky enough to go up the coast to some of our gorgeous Queensland beaches to celebrate my best friend's hen's weekend! I managed to get a great run and really long walk in, and I "persevered" through a lovely glass of white wine at the end of the day :)
